see , it's that easy. I don't get why I have ten emo journals spamming my message box everyday.
you want attention / your life sucks / whatever , fine with me , I get the point , you don't need to write about everything that happens ranging from you hitting your toe (that sucks) to getting hit by a ten-ton truck for the seventeenth time in a row.
everytime I see a journal like that coming up I can practically predict what's in it , one of the main reasons I don't often read them.
for god's sake people , I never told you I'm getting sick of you , don't start saying I do because then I might , and that's great because then you'll actually have something to tell aside from the fact that no one loves you , not counting the hundreds of people hugging you and giving you a shoulder to cry on everyday without getting as much as a 'yeah , I know' for a thanks. I'd almost think you only post tenmillion journals in a row to get rid of the ones that have a million comments of loving friends on them , because then you wouldn't have anything to be emo about , would you?
the few times I see people giving thanks for someone being there for them , it's usually when said someone being there is an artist that's well known. post a journal about getting contact with one of the almighty 'art gods' and you'll get the connections.

they're just people , okay? others count just as much. if you meet someone on chat there'll be little difference between the popular person that everyone loves and the quiet little artist hiding in the corner.

what I'm saying is , do everyone a favor , lay off of your usual whining scedule , and post a nice journal to thank everyone that's there for you. make them feel special for ones by , for example , drawing a 'thanks' picture , or giving everyone a hug or something , you don't need to rub every drama in my face when I'm trying to help.

I'll be explaining some alien races I came up with along the run in this journal , I hope it'll be informative enough XD

name species: Hydralgin

location: a planet called Sealtin , which can't really be called a planet because it's actually a big fat floathing platform formed out of layers upon layers of buildings , the queen's home being the centre.

appearance: the Hydralgin look very much like irkens , with some small differences like the fact that they can grow hair and don't need a pak. the most common Hydralgin are tall and slim built , but there are smaller kinds as well , like the northern Hydralgin. their irken features hint that they used to have a close connection with said species.

aging: Hydralgin can become very old , most of the still fairly young ones ( 30-40 years in human age) having witnessed the reign of the Oracles ( [link] ) and the upcoming of paks.
when a Hydralgin dies , they usually don't look older than 50 years of age , but their bodies will quickly unbind.

history: the Hydralgin used to be a differend kind of the Spananians ( [link]) but due to mixed breeding with the irkens and the naturally fairly weak genes when it comes to looks from the Hydralgin , their appearances became more irken-like , until all that remained from their original roots were the bodily structure and the magic some posess.
Soon after the fall of the Oracles , with which the Hydralgin had a close bond , they left , building up a mostly secret empire of their own , hence they can't be found in any records of the irken history.
nowadays Hydralgin are starting to pop up again in alien society trough business, tough keeping to themselves and not showing their faces.

species name: Spananians

location: Spanania *wow , I'm so very original)

appearances: the Spananians have some facial features of the irkens (no nose or ears and no hair , and long eyelashes for the females) but the big differences are the no paks and the 'tentacles'on their heads (they're sensitive , pretty much like antennea , but very differend at the same time). due to genetic malfunctioning there are Spananians with four or more arms walking about as well.
the main skin colours variate from brown to green , and then there's some mixed breeds with differend skin colours as well.

aging: while they don't become nearly as old as an average Hydralgin , they can become two times as old as irkens.

History: The Spananians have a rich culture , mainly evolving around the near-goddes Ashri , an eigh-armed Spananian that once saved the Spananian army , giving her life.
before that , they were a violent species , hell-bend on protecting whatever was theirs , but then they started to trade , and after a while they got out of the black market , and got into legal business , as well as space fishing.
due to this , they got ties with the irkens , resulting in the Hydralgin being born from the tallest kind of Spananians , the Southerns (aprox 10 ft in height).

species name: Oracles

location: the planet that used to be irk

appearances: the Oracles were the leaders of an early version of the irkens , small , and usually with iron stilts of sorts attached to their legs at a young age so they learn to walk with them , since irk used to be a swamp planet (way before the paks and the control brain , mind you , this is before the actual IZ takes place XD)the leaders of the differend tribes had the longest stilts before four main leaders were chosen.

aging: there's no records avaidable on that one , sadly.

History: the Oracles were taken down when the paks and the control brain were made , during a period of hardships. the irken folk was starting a riot for some reason or another , and one of the Oracles at the time was executed , leaving the other three to dissapear. according to the view stories that remained from that period of time , they were burried in the thombs deep inside of irk.
